In which G.M. Norton feels paternal pride.
Today marks the fifth anniversary of Norton of Morton.
As is tradition, every year I devote a periodical post to my blog's birthday as quite frankly, I'm amazed that it's still running.
For five years, I've published a new entry on the same day and time every week without fail.
Yes, chumrades, I'm nothing if reliable.
I like to think that Saturday at 4 o'clock has become as synonymous as 3 o'clock on Saturday used to be for football fans (that was until television broadcasters waded in and turned tradition on its head).
In years gone by, I've reflected on awards that have been scooped and how it lead to me becoming Editor-at-Large for In Retrospect magazine.
This year, I'm just grateful that I'm still knocking around the interweb with my particular brand of mischief and insight.
Here's to many more years!
